JESUS IS THE MESSIAH.
Welcome to the New Testament! The One that was promised thousands of years ago in Genesis 3, the One that was called the Great Promise of the Old Testament is finally here and He is first introduced to us in the gospel of Matthew. The gospel of Matthew presents Jesus as the fulfillment of messianic hopes and expectations. Matthew carefully structures his narratives to reveal Jesus as fulfilling specific prophecies. Matthew's use of the title "Son of God" clearly underscores Jesus deity. The word 'Messiah' means 'the anointed One". It also means "expected deliverer". This is really a derivation from the Hebrew. The Greek rendering is 'Christos" which means the anointed One. The "Christ" in the name of Jesus is not His surname but it actually describes who He is and what He has come to do.  Jesus Christ is our powerful, anointed deliverer. He is our Messiah.  He is your Messiah! Please do not look anymore for another savior or deliverer or helper, He is here. He is the fulfillment of all Old Testament prophecies and promises. He is here. Beloved, Jesus Christ is the One that will make for your peace in all and in every situation.  It is okay to place all your hopes, expectations and anticipations on Him. He is the Savior and the Deliverer that has come to Zion. Our hope must be built on nothing but on Jesus Christ and His righteousness. He is our Messiah who has guaranteed us eternal salvation and brokered peace with His Father. The Messiah is here to deliver you from every situation. He carries the anointing, power and authority. Hallelujah!! As you go into your day, call Him your Messiah, call Him your anointed One, call Him your Savior and call Him your Deliverer. Shalom, Shalom!!

Today's Prayer: Lord Jesus, I declare you as my Messiah. You are my expected Deliverer. My hopes and anticipation are not built on anything else but in you. Thank you for coming in the flesh to save and deliver me.
