HE IS THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES
(THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY)

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 18:15-18
Additional Bible Reading: Hosea 12:13, John 7:37-41, Revelation 19:10, Proverbs 5.

JESUS IS THE PROPHET LIKE MOSES

It is just that He is much greater than Moses for He created Moses and all the other prophets and servants of God. How is He like Moses? Moses was the great deliverer that God used to deliver Israel from over four hundred years of Egyptian bondage and servitude. He brought the children of Israel out by word and great power. The Bible records that he was made like a god unto Pharaoh.
God Himself tells us that Moses, unlike any other prophet spoke with Him face to face as a friend and not in dark sayings, visions, dreams or in similitude. Moses saw the form of God. (Numbers 12:4-8).
Jesus Christ our saviour came to earth to deliver us from the bondage of sin and Satan. He came to set the captives free and to deliver everyone from their "Egyptian captivity". The Bible says that he that the Son sets free is free indeed!
Beloved, you do not have any reason why you should still be tied down and held down by that satanic captivity. Is it sickness, infirmity, poverty, unemployment, bareness, absence of life partner, defeat and failure? This is why Jesus came. He came to set you and your household free. He came to judge every stronghold and captivity that has locked you down. He came to break the stronghold of delay that is hanging over your life that is beginning to look like denial.
He is the Prophet like Moses who has brought you the word of freedom. He has come to say to the enemies of your life "Let my people go so that they can serve me".
Beloved, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). Every word of Jesus and the word of God is prophecy and prophetic. Remember, that in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. Nothing was made without the Word; by the Word all things were created. Beloved, Jesus Christ is the ultimate Prophet over your life. We must begin to receive His written word as our word of testimony and prophecy. We must begin to receive Him and His words in the name of a Prophet so we can receive a prophet's reward. What has His words said to you? Do you believe the word you read in the Bible or has it become a mere ritual and routine?
It is only by a prophet that you can be delivered and it is only by a prophet that you can be preserved. Jesus is that Prophet!
Beloved, in this New Year, begin a fresh relationship and intimacy with Jesus in your life. Begin to receive His every word in your life as words of prophecy. Begin to actively declare His word over your life. This is the way to activate God's power over your life.
Are you in any captivity? Have you been stagnated in one spot for too long? Has your marriage failed? Is there a generational pattern and limitation? Are you in poverty and great debt? You may even be a lawful captive, meaning that you have become a victim of wrong decisions and actions. The good news on this fifth day of the year is that Jesus can deliver all lawful captives.
Today, receive the Prophet like Moses into your life and into your heart. Ask Him to help you and to deliver you. Ask Him to forgive you where you have sinned.
Receive Him as a Prophet and His words as prophecy. Open up His word and declare like He did: today, this scripture is being fulfilled.
Jesus Himself is the ultimate fulfilment of scriptures and prophecy. May your walk with Him make 2018 the ultimate fulfilment of every prophecy and promise over your life, Amen!!

Today's Prayer:
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for being my Prophet. Help me this year to receive your word and testimony as my prophetic word. Help me daily to receive you in the name of a prophet.
Deliver me Lord Jesus from every captivity and bondage this year.
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
