HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF...
Welcome to a new day! One of the greatest assurances for the child of God is that God doesn't change. He is faithful and He remains faithful. We can totally trust and rely on Him because He is faithful. No new day will change God. No new month or year will change God. That is incredibly re-assuring. Hallelujah! He says in Malachi 36: "I am God and I change not". He remains faithful in all of His ways. With your God, season is no reason to change. Our God carries within Him the ability and capacity to change situations and circumstances but He Himself remains the same, unchanging and faithful. What our God did yesterday, He is still able to do today and tomorrow. The word of God describes Him as "....the same yesterday, today and forever"! Hallelujah! Have you ever been in a relationship and either suddenly or gradually the other person changed totally? Indeed, now there is a night and day difference between the old and the new person. They are now like strangers. Our God is not like that. Praise God!! The additional Bible reading today tells us that He is not a man that lies or repent. You can actually look forward with great expectation and anticipation of a new day because He is faithful. You can totally lean on Him when you are not strong and you know that He will support and strengthen you. You can trust Him even when everything around you is falling and changing. He remains the Rock in a weary land that will be your cover in times of storms and gales. He is the Anchor that holds even when the ship is battered and the sails are torn. He is the Anchor that holds. There are days that you may not fully understand and interpret your circumstances and situations. Just trust Him. The songwriter wrote: "Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone..." You can totally lean on His Frame. This anchor will hold!
Question and Reflection of the Day: Planning for a new day? Include Him at the centre of your plans. He is totally reliable and unchanging. Are you in a relationship that is failing or has failed you? It is time to totally lean on the one that is forever faithful. What are you taking away into your new day?
Today's Prayer: Lord Jesus, I trust you. I make a commitment to totally trust and have faith in you even when I do not fully know and understand my circumstances. Bless my day, Lord Jesus.
