PHYSICALLY FIT FOR THE MISSION....
Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Additional bible Reading: Daniel 1:8-16

The key scripture today tells us that your body is the temple of God, the dwelling place of God. He has a strong interest in our bodies and what we do with our bodies. Some things significantly affect what happens to your body.
Our lifestyle which includes but not limited to lifestyle, nutrition, exercise or lack of it etc significantly determine the health or otherwise of our bodies. You are what you eat. If you eat the wrong things, it will eventually bring forth a bad harvest in our bodies. Most sicknesses and diseases today are a direct result of our nutrition and diet. Hypertension, heart disease/attack and diabetes many times are caused or complicated by our lifestyle and nutrition. We must also be physically fit and this we can achieve by regular physical exercise. Folks, wisdom is profitable to direct. Your body houses your spirit and soul here on earth. If your body fails or packs up, then your Spirit and soul will check out and quite a number of times in these days, prematurely.
The plan of God is for us to live long, healthy lives. However, we must cooperate with Him by avoiding destructive and unwholesome lifestyles that will jeopardize the perfect will of God for us. One way of guaranteeing that you are going to be around for a long time to fulfill your God given purpose on earth is to decide from today is to adopt a lifestyle that will keep your body here for a long time. There are some things that are good for your body and some things are not. Stay with the things that are good and stay away from the things that are not. Please get as much balanced information on this subject as you can. God is very interested in your body!!

Daily Question and Reflection: Are you physically fit? How is your diet? Do you exercise at all? When was the last time you went for a full physical examination?

Daily Prayer Point: Father, help me to be disciplined with my lifestyle. Please Lord, help me!
Bless my day, Lord Jesus.
