HE IS THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT RISES WITH HEALINGS IN HIS WINGS
(THE BOOK OF MALACHI)

Scripture Reading: Malachi 4:2 Additional Bible Reading:  Isaiah 58:8. Jeremiah 33:6, Proverbs 3

JESUS CHRIST IS THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT ARISES WITH HEALING IN HIS WINGS.

In this last Book of the Old Testament, we see our Messiah represented in a powerful way. The Prophet Malachi in Malachi 3:1 says that the Messenger of the (new) covenant that we are seeking will appear suddenly in His temple – Malachi 3:1; but the most profound is the verse that the Sun of righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. The word healing here in the Hebrew is ‘marpe’ and it means restoration of health, remedy, cure, medicine, tranquility, deliverance, and refreshing. The verse goes on to say that "And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture". Hallelujah!! Beloved, this is what Jesus Christ has come to do in our lives. When He is done with you, you will be totally free and you will be leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. This was the testimony of the lame man at the gate called Beautiful (Acts 3). The word for healing here, as you can see means a lot more than just physical healing of diseases and infirmity. It means total healing and deliverance of the spirit, soul and body. Jesus will bring to you today and this month a time of total refreshing that can only come from His person and His presence. Jesus Christ will bring you true peace and tranquility if you will embrace Him and totally submit to Him. My message to you today is that He will not only do these for you but He will do it quickly for you and your family. Just as the sun suddenly appears and breaks through darkness, so our Lord Jesus will break through every dark issue of your life and the hurts and pains of the past. Do you know Him as the Sun of righteousness?  He is also very able to heal broken bodies, sick bodies, broken hearts and broken spirits. Call upon Him today, He will answer you. Shalom.

Today's Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I call you the Sun of righteousness today. On my account, Lord Jesus, arise with healings in your wings to heal every area of my life and destiny. I trust and I thank you Lord Jesus. Bless my day Lord Jesus.
